Wikimedia Denmark is a chapter in Wikimedia movement and the chapter is a member of the umbrella organizations Wikimedia Europe and the Danish organization OpenDenmark.
Through the year Wikimedia Denmark has co-organized small ediathons ("skrivestuer") within the framework of Wiki Labs Kultur. During the first half of 2024 we had three writing sessions at The Workers Museum in Copenhagen. They were a continuation of of a series started in 2023 and focused on female workers.[1] The series continued in second half of 2024 and included a session at the National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen focused on the exhibition "Against All Odds – Historical Women and New Algorithms. 31 August – 8 December 2024".[2]
A Wikimedia Denmark boardmember responded to proposed legislagtion about copyright.[3]
