Translating the interface in your language, we need your help

Hello Fnielsen, thanks for working on this wiki in your language. We updated the list of priority translations and I write you to let you know. The language used by this wiki (or by you in your preferences) needs about 100 translations or less in the priority list. You're almost done!

Please register on translatewiki.net if you didn't yet and then help complete priority translations (make sure to select your language in the language selector). Opendata DK license

Hello, from a Aalborg university study which was presented at OpenSym I noticed that most "open data" datasets in this portal https://portal.opendata.dk/dataset?organization=city-of-copenhagen actually use the license https://portal.opendata.dk/dataset/open-data-dk-licens which is not listed in https://opendefinition.org/licenses/ . The text of that license is not very license-like, it doesn't even state which rights it's about (are database rights included?). It mentions CC-0 and CC-BY saying they should be compatible, but we know they are very different licenses. Is there a legal text somewhere, or some background on why they're using it? Skabelon:PingThat license is a piece of government crap. It should be abandoned and replaced by CC0 which IMO is the only sensible license on public open data for the best of the public. We already paid the officials for collecting and curating the data. Set it free. Ask people to voluntarily give credit or say where the data is from and that is good enough. The swedes has realized this and the governmental authority DIGG has recently released recommendations for use of CC0 for data.--So9q (diskussion) 1. jan 2021, 15:53 (UTC)

Hej, jeg ser at denne forening er betydeligt mindre end den svenske hvad gælder økonomi. Svenskerne søger penge offentligt for at gennemføre forskellige projekter. Har I nogle planer på at gøre det også?--So9q (diskussion) 1. jan 2021, 15:48 (UTC)

How we will see unregistered users

Hi!

You get this message because you are an admin on a Wikimedia wiki.

When someone edits a Wikimedia wiki without being logged in today, we show their IP address. As you may already know, we will not be able to do this in the future. This is a decision by the Wikimedia Foundation Legal department, because norms and regulations for privacy online have changed.

Instead of the IP we will show a masked identity. You as an admin will still be able to access the IP. There will also be a new user right for those who need to see the full IPs of unregistered users to fight vandalism, harassment and spam without being admins. Patrollers will also see part of the IP even without this user right. We are also working on better tools to help.

We have two suggested ways this identity could work. We would appreciate your feedback on which way you think would work best for you and your wiki, now and in the future. You can let us know on the talk page. You can write in your language. The suggestions were posted in October and we will decide after 17 January.
